Ghana’s Twumasi scores debut goal for Gazientep FK

Ghana attacker Patrick Twumasi netted his debut goal for newly promoted side Gazisehir Gazientep FK in the Turkish Super League against Sivasspor.

The former FC Astana goal machine joined the Turkish top-flight side from Spanish side Alaves on a season long-loan deal.

Twumasi scored the first goal of the Saturday’s encounter 36 minutes on after a fine assist from Nigerian international Olarenwaju Kayode.

Gazientep could not hold onto their lead as former Ivorian star striker Arouna Kone got the equaliser for Sivasspor in the 73rd minute.

The Black Stars striker was replaced by Kenan Ozer in the 78th minute while former Liberty Professional midefieder Abdul Aziz Tetteh lasted the full time as Gazientep FK walked home with a vital away point.
