Goztepe consider Ghana striker Owusu as an option

Turkish Superlig side Goztepe are keeping an eye on Ghanaian attacker William Owusu as their second alternative should they fail to land Eren Derdiyok.

Dailymailgh.com can reveal that Owusu who left Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp this summer after the expiration of his contract has been offered to Goztepe by his agent but they will only sign him if they are unable get Derdiyok from Galatasary.

Owusu, 29 was the key man upfront for Royal Antwerp netting seven goals and providing two assists in 33 Belgian Pro League games last season but chose not to renew his contract when it ended.

The experienced forward has previously played for clubs including Sporting Lisbon and Cercle Brugge.
