Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant is optimistic the Phobians will win the Ghana league next season.
The Rainbow Club tasted defeat in the hands of arch rivals Asante Kotoko in the NC Special competition semi-final on Sunday.
Despite the defeat, the manager was pleased and satisfied with his side’s performance and believes Hearts will win their first Premier League title in 10 years.
“Everybody at the club is disappointed with the outcome of the game, but we cannot take anything away from the young lads who gave it their all,” Grant told Happy FM.
“We are very proud of the boys and going forward, we are very confident we will win the league next season because that is the aim of the team after coming this far in short time,” he added.
Hearts of oak missed the chance to win a trophy and a place in Africa’s club competition after losing on penalties by 4-5 on Sunday against the Porcupine Warriors.
