Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and defender Yusif Alhassan.

The former continental club masters (winners of CAF Champions League in 2000) severed ties with the players after they failed to impress the technical handlers of the team.

The former Berekum Chelsea and Kumasi Asante Kototo goalkeeper, Sowah joined the club last season.

Defender Alhassan, who rarely makes the team’s 18 players on match days, was also shown the exit door by the Accra-based club.

Hearts of Oak are preparing for the season and looking forward to end the 10-year trophy drought.
