Ex-Ghana star playmaker Christian Atsu says the Ghana Football Association should honour Asamoah Gyan with a call-up to play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.

The former FC Porto man has reacted to recent comments made by the all time Ghana top scorer, Asamoah Gyan on his desire to play for Ghana at the next FIFA Mundial.

According to Atsu, Asamoah Gyan’s wish to play for Ghana again at the highest level should be honoured by taking him to the World Cup in November this year.

“Honour  ASAMOAH GYAN3 with his last wish”, former Ghana star Christian Atsu wrote on social media.

Gyan has played at all three FIFA World Cup tournament appearances by Ghana between 2006 and 2014 scoring Ghana’s first ever goal at the World stage.

He’s the top scoring player in Africa at the FIFA Mundial after netting six goals for the Black Stars.

Ghana will face former European Champions Portuguese, former World Cup Champions Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
