I don’t have coronavirus – EC boss Jean Mensa

The chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, has described as “outright lie” reports making rounds that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

“The Commission wishes to state categorically that this is an outright lie and a figment of the author’s warped imagination,” a statement from the electoral management body said.

It added that: “The Commission wishes to state that the chairperson of the Electoral Commission is well and at post… she has not tested positive for the coronavirus.”
