Southampton FC star Center-back Mohammed Salisu says he feels it was the right time for him to represent Ghana ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
He stated that he had a chat with the Black Stars team head coach Otto Addo about why he was initially rejecting the Ghana call-ups to play for the Black Stars.
Salisu also revealed that he held a good talk about his situation with the Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku on why he wasn’t ready for the Motherland.
According to him it is a dream come true for him and he feels great playing for Ghana at the World Cup.
