Ghanaian new forward, Ransford Yeboah says he will be very excited to make the next Black Stars call-up to represent Ghana officially after switching nationality to play for Ghana.
He stated that he would be very happy if he could attend the next international matches for the four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners.
The Germany Bundesliga 2 side Hamburger SV forward Ransford-Yeboah is confident his chances of playing at the World Cup is easier with Ghana than Germany.
The Former SG Dynamo Dresden forward Ransford-Yeboah has therefore given a thorough explanation on why he chose Ghana over Germany.
The Germany U21 forward switched nationality to represent Ghana at international level in June.
The Hamburg attacker is confident his path to international football will be much easier with the Black Stars of Ghana than Germany.
“My father comes from Ghana, he would be very proud of me if I could now play for his fatherland. In addition, it is probably easier to become a national team player there,” he told the Bild.
The 20-year-old forward is having a good season at Hamburg, scoring two goals in the DFB Pokal victory over Bayreuth.
The young and enterprising forward also revealed that coach Otto Addo has always been in contact with him since last December before he was even appointed head coach for the Black Stars team.
“I would be willing to play for Ghana. I met Otto Addo last December before he was national coach. Since then we have been in close contact. I already take care of the Ghanaian passport. I would be happy if I could attend the next international matches in September,” added the youngster.
