New Patriotic Party MP hopeful for the Juaben Constituency Francis Owusu-Akyaw has announced plans to lead investment initiatives for the development of the Bobiri Forest and Esaase waterfall to enhance the economic prospects in the Ashanti Region town.
The Minerals Consultant says tapping into these natural resources within the constituency will promote eco-tourism and create employment opportunities for the local community.
He emphasized the importance of sustainable development and environmental conservation, asserting that responsible tourism initiatives would not only benefit the local economy but also contribute to the preservation of the natural heritage.
“And plans are far advanced on this project”, Owusu-Akyaw told the host of Boss FM’s ‘Good Morning Boss’ on Tuesday (10 January). “I have already made consultations with private and international stakeholders and government agencies to ensure the successful implementation of the proposed investment projects”.
Francis Owusu-Akyaw is re-contesting the New Patriotic Party parliamentary primaries slated for 27 January. He is the main contender tipped to win the race against sitting MP Ama Pomaa Boateng.
“Juaben needs a new leadership to make things happen and I am urging delegates to support me with their votes to bring change and improve the lives of the people”, he said.
