Kudus had already showed his mettle in the Ghana defeat to Portugal last Thursday by providing an assist for captain Andre Ayew to score the equalizer for Ghana who later conceded two goals to lose 3-2 at the end of the match.

“The warmth of the light is Big Energy. Can’t bury the light. FIFA World Cup debut is another dream unlocked.”

“I am Son of the Light. My journey is KUDUSI’m Kingly-Uplifting-Dauntless-Undermined-Stars”, the Ghana star player Kudus Mohammed wrote on social media.

Kudus was named Man-Of-The-Match in the Ghana win over the Asian powerhouse following his two goals and had promised fireworks against Uruguay on Friday evening.

Ghana stands a big to progress to the next stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar should they avoid defeat against Luiz Suarez’s Uruguay.
