Indonesia: ‘A country with no football history’ beat Ghana at the 2022 Toulon tournament

Indonesia, a country with no football history defeated the U20 national team of Ghana, the Black Satellites at the ongoing 2022 Toulon tournament in France.

Ghana’s Black Satellites succumbed to a 1-0 defeat again in France to Indonesia U-23 in the Maurice Revello tournament today June 2, 2022.

This was the second game of the tournament in France for the Ghana U20 team who failed to redeem their image after losing the México in the first gane.

The Satellite started the game on a good note but were unable to break the deadlock and subsequently loss to the minnows. 

After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match  Indonesia struck first through Raka Cahyana in the 58th minute and that proved to be decisive moments in the entire match.

Ghana have now loss two of their opening two matches and faces elimination from the tournament.
