The Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) Isaac Osei, will step down effective January 2020, reports say.
He is said to have announced his decision at a staff gathering to end the year 2019.
Though no reasons have been given for his resignation, close associates of the company said Mr Osei is proceeding on retirement.
He will turn 69 in March 2020.
Osei is the former M.P. of Subin Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
He is also the former Chief executive officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board and one time Ghana High Commissioner to the UK.
