Former Tema Youth and Hearts of Oak coach Edward Nii Odoom insists it will not be easy for the Black Stars to win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Odoom stressed the performance of the team has been appalling so far and it will be difficult for them to clinch the ultimate.
“There is long way ahead for the Black Stars to win the Afcon. I’m not impressed with the performance of the team,” Odoom told New Mercury FM.
“The Black Stars lack so many things, there is no team organization and shaping. The players are not giving out their best. We can’t blame the coach.”
Odoom further indicated that the second round game with the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Monday will be tough as they are a well-drilled side.
“The Tunisia game will not be easy. It will be difficult because they are tactically disciplined than our boys,” he added.
The Black Stars will face off with the north African side on Monday in the round of 16.
