Spain-based Ghana striker Inaki Williams says the opportunity to play for Ghana was too good to ignore after switching from Spain to play for Ghana.
He stated that he could not turn his back on the chances of playing for Black Stars as he was approached by the Ghana Football Association authorities.
Speaking in an interview in Spain explaining why he switched to Ghana, the striker indicated that this was a very good opportunity and he hopped on it.
“Trains only run once and I got on this one, which has more good than bad,” he said.
“The decision has been mature and consensual with my family,” he added.
Inaki Williams has made over 300 first-team appearances for the club, including a La Liga record of over 200 consecutive games.
