Ghana’s Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko is anticipating a good game today against hosts Morocco in their second group game of the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship.
Tanko bemoaned limited time for preparation for the game after having just a day to prepare for the crucial encounter as their opponents had a day more to prepare for the match.
Nonetheless, the coach is hopeful of a good outing from his team against the north Africans today at 8pm in Rabat.
“We have only today to prepare and we cannot do too much, we have to do the regeneration so that they will be fit tomorrow,” Tanko stated.
“We are looking forward to this game and both teams have won their first match, and I am sure that it’s going to be a very good game tomorrow,” Tanko added.
Ghana needs one win from the remaining two matches to secure a place in the semi-final of the competition and stand a chance to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in France, Paris.
