It’s my dream to play for Manchester United – Ghanaian midfielder Ayarna

Ghanaian international midfielder Reuben Ayarna has revealed his favorite team and club he ever wished to play for.

According to the versatile and combative midfield dynamo, England’s powerhouse Manchester United has always been his dream team growing up as a player.

“My aim was (is) to wear the Red Devils jersey and play at the Theatre of Dreams for the great Man United football club though age is not currently on my side,” he told Dailymailgh.com.

The 33-year-old Ghanaian midfielder scored in his side’s victory in the Finnish Veikkausliiga League game on Saturday over Inter to break the club’s 33 years trophy drought in style and has admitted of being a staunch fan of the Old Trafford.

“I know at the age of 33 in football everything seems over but you never know what the future brings and I still hope to play at Old Trafford before retirement if possible in United’s colours.”

Ayarna has been in Europe since 2008 after signing his first professional contract with Swedish side GAIS and went ahead to spend six years at the club.

Currently, the Ghanaian ply’s his trade in Finland with KuPS and helped them to a league triumph for the first time in 43 odd years for the club.
