Dutch-born Ghanaian right-back Jeremie Frimpong dazzled for Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Tuesday evening at the Bay Arena in the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian born in the Netherlands came from the bench to provide two crucial assists for his team as they whip the Spanish La Liga team.
He came on after 66 minutes of the match to set up Robert Andrich to score the first goal of the match after 84 minutes played with six minutes to the end of the match.
The youngster provided another assist with a pinpoint low-cross from the right side of attack into the path of Moussa Diaby three minutes later after the first goal to slot home the second.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen ended the game as 2-0 victors and moved moves above Atletico Madrid with the win.
After being a Super-Sub for his team in their win, the 21-year-old was awarded the Man-Of-The-Match gog to show for his impact and decisive display to win his team all three points.
