Embattled Menzgold CEO Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM 1 has declared: “Jesus is the same… forever” moments after winning a court case in Dubai.

The rich young CEO of gold dealership firm has been behind bars since December 2018 over a gold deal gone bad with a UAE company. However, he was acquitted and discharged Tuesday after being charged for fraud over a gold deal worth $23 million.

Moments after his release, he wrote on his Instagram: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever”.

The Dubai court ordered the company Mr Mensah had issues with to pay him all outstanding debts.

NAM 1 will return to Ghana after 30 days if the company fails to appeal the case.

The Ghana government has also confirmed his victory in Dubai.

Speaking to journalists Tuesday, a deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice Joseph Kpemka: “So, I can confirm on authority that he has won the case in Dubai pending any appeal by the complainant in that matter and if there’s no appeal in that case after 30 days elapse and his freedom is without questioning.”

NAM 1 is on the wanted list of the Ghana Police and Interpol having allegedly defrauded thousands of customers of their investment in Menzgold.
