Italian Serie A New Boys Cremonese FC have agreed to a €7 million deal with AS Roma for Felix Afena-Gyan, Dailymailgh.com understands.

According to Astute European journalist Nicolo Schira, the Ghanaian youngster has agreed on personal terms with the club as he’s expected to leave Roma this summer.

The Ghana International Felix has been surplus to requirements at Roma so far this season with the arrival of new players and is desperate to move in search of playing time elsewhere.

He was part of the Roma team that won the maiden edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season after his breakthrough season under José Mourinho.

He scored two goals in 17 Serie A games for the Red and Yellows outfit with both goals coming against Cagliari Calcio.

Afena Gyan led the Black Stars team in the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria and helped Ghana to book their fourth World Cup appearance.

He netted his first Ghana goal Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and also provided an assist in same game.

With the World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year, the young man wants a team that will offer him more playing time to get a call-up to play for Ghana at the World stage.
