Ghana Premier League side Karela United have appointed Evans Adotey as head coach of the club.
Coach Adotey will be assisted by former Nzema Kotoko and King Faisal coach Mallam Yahaya.
The Western region based Football Club confirmed the appointment of the vastly experience gaffer via the club twitter account.
“We are happy to announce the appointment of coaches Evans Adotey and Mallam Yahaya as head coach and Assistant respectively of our dear club. We are excited about the experience that Adotey and his assistant will bring to the club. ….we wish them the very best of luck”, Karela tweeted.
According to Dailymailgh.com sources, the former Black Maidens coach and Medeama SC technical director has penned a two-year deal with the Nzema – based club.
Karela United were lying on 17th position before the league was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adotey with his vast experience in coaching would be expected to lift the Nzema Lads from relegation to safety when the league resume.
