Karela United FC traveled all the way from Anyinase in the Western Region to pick up a valuable three points on the road in Cape Coast against Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs in the Central Region.

Umar Bashiru netted the game’s opening goal in the first half after just 24 minutes of action to put the away team 1-0 up following a nice set up play by Diawisie Taylor.

Just at the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, top scorer in the Ghana Premier League, Diawisie Taylor scored his tenth goal of the season to make it 2-0 before the interval.

After the break, the home team upped their play and created a lot of good epenings in the early minutes of the second half.

Seven minutes to full time, Benjamin Acquah reduced the deficit to one for Ebusua Dwarfs but could not find the equalizer as it ended 2-1 to Karela who returns to the top of the league table with 25 points after fourteen matches.

Karela United will face struggling Liberty Professionals next weekend at home in Anyinase whiles Dwarfs travels to face troubled Hearts of Oak in Accra.
