Ken Thompson, the former Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance, has lauded the Mahama administration for unveiling a budget he characterizes as transparent, evidence-based, and attentive to genuine challenges. Speaking on Face to Face on Channel One TV on Tuesday, Thompson contrasted this budget sharply with those from the previous government.
He explained, “For the first time in nine years, they have read a budget that I can understand and which is based on data.” According to Thompson, past budgets were marred by self-praise and a lack of meaningful detail. He elaborated, “Previous budgets, I didn’t understand some of the things they were saying. It was full of praise for the government. It was full of things that the government wanted to do… It never dealt with the real issues.”
