There was drama in Parliament on Tuesday (13 February) following a near-fisticuff between the defeated New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong and his colleague MP for Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro Sylvester Tetteh.

It is still not clear what started the incident, but reports suggest that the incident began after Tetteh attempted to extend pleasantry with the Assin Central MP, which got the latter angry.

Deputy Majority Leader Alex Afenyo-Markin had to intervene to separate the two.

The Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro MP was subsequently ushered out of the chamber of Parliament after the near fisticuffs.
