Owner of Kumasi-based King Faisal, Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah, has stated that his football club is available for purchase.
“I am ready to release King Faisal outright to any investor but my only plea to any potential buyer will be that he shouldn’t rename the club just in honouring me,” he told Kumasi FM.
“I’m appealing to everyone who’s interested to come forward and also I want to be part of the club as far as I’m alive”, he noted.
The ace football administrator has expressed his desire to relocate the team from Kumasi since he believes the people of Kumasi have not shown him enough love.
“We are considering relocating the club from Kumasi. We can’t continuously play in Kumasi while we gross GHC6 from our games. I was born and bred in Kumasi but the people of Kumasi have neglected King Faisal even in our prime days”, he added.
Kumasi King Faisal was reinstated as a premier league club at yesterday’s GFA elective congress in Accra.
