Professor Rita Akosua Dickson is Vice Chancellor for the KNUST

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has formally extended the tenure of Prof. (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson as Vice-Chancellor for another two years.

The decision was announced following the University Council’s 282nd regular meeting, where they endorsed the recommendation of the Committee to renew her appointment.

Prof. Dickson’s reappointment, effective from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2026, reflects her exemplary leadership and significant contributions to KNUST’s academic excellence, research innovation, and infrastructural development during her initial term.

A. K. Boateng, the University Registrar, confirmed the renewal through an official notice distributed across the university community and to the public, solidifying Prof. Dickson’s continued stewardship at KNUST.
