Asante Kotoko drew their first game of the season against XI Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday evening.
Wonders started the game on a brighter note and created several chances, but failed to capitalize on their early dominance.
The visitors were the better side for almost 25 minutes of the match and missed three easy to score goal scoring opportunities before the 20th minutes mark.
After 25 minutes of the match, the Porcupines grew in confidence and started putting some passes together leading to some decent chances, but failed to score.
Fifteen minutes to full time, XI Wonders’ good spell of inter-positional passes landed on Prince Okraku, and the substitute was apt with his shot as he hits the ball into the left bottom corner.
The frenetic match ended in a stalemate and both teams had to settle for a point each in a pulsating game.
