Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s 2019/2020 CAF Champions League preliminary stage opponent Kano Pillars have qualified for the finals of the AITEO Cup in Nigeria.
Pillars who have been superb in the early season competition defeated Calabar Rovers in the semi finals and will now face Niger Tornadoes in the finals at Kaduna on Wednesday July 24.
The finals against the high flying Niger Tornadoes is another good preparatory test for the Northern Nigerian club as they face the Ghanaian champions in CAF’s biggest club competition next month.
Kano Pillars are currently second on the 2019/2020 Nigerian Premier League table after five games. They have won three and drawn two.
