Asante Kotoko pair of Jordan Opoku and Augustine Okrah have been cleared by Africa’s football governing body (CAF) ahead of the Porcupines’ clash with Etoile Du Sahel next week.
The duo could not feature in both games against Kano Pillars in the previous round because their registration could not go through.
Okrah signed for the Reds as a free agent after leaving Indian outfit NorthEast United FC and some documents showing that he is under no contract needed to be sent to CAF whilst Opoku’s registration on the other hand could not go through the first time for inexplicable reasoms.
Dailymailgh.com understands that the Fabulous Club had an official communique on Wednesday evening that the two players are now eligible to play in the Africa premier club competition.
