The big stage is set for Sunday’s crucial CAF Champions League return leg between Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and Kano Pillars of Nigeria.
The game is the most talked about in Ghana and very important for the Porcupine Warriors who must shut the defense and produce a swift reaction after the defeat in Kano a fortnight ago.
After a 3-2 defeat at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, Kotoko will welcome the Pillars in Kumasi with the hope of taking their revenge and securing passage to the next round.
The record champions of Ghana Premier League need to be on their guard and must show determination, dedication and discipline at the back, as opposed to their behaviour during the fixture in Nigeria.
While the Ghanaians would be aiming for nothing short of full marks, the Nigerian Aiteo Cup winners will be looking forward to consolidate their gains.
