Ex-Kumasi Asante Kotoko Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure has advised his former club to win massively against their CAF Confederation Cup opponents San Pedro in the first leg of the playoffs.
“I was happy when I saw the draw because this is a team that cannot be compared to Kotoko in any way,” Toure said.
According to Toure, the Ivorian side has made lots of changes to their team, most of their players left after last season.
The ex-Kotoko tops-man advised the Porcupine Warriors to score more goals in Ghana, at least 3-0, 4-0 score to assure themselves of making the group stage.
“Kotoko must win big in Ghana to ensure their passage into the group stage.”
The former Kotoko goal machine added: “They San Pedro made lots of recruitment this season, and have bought most of the experience players from other teams in the Ivorian league and they are good.”
“Kotoko players must know that San Pedro is a team that plays like an academy side, they like to play good football,” he said to Kumasi- based FOX 97.9 FM.
