Asante Kotoko midfielder, Jordan Opoku, has called on his team-mates to make it a priority for the team to win laurels.
Speaking to the press at the team’s training center at Adako Gyakye on Saturday, the 31-year-old former Feyenoord and Royal Antwerp player adviced his mates to give off their best to push the club forward.
“We must work hard to win a trophy. The trophy will go to the club but we are the ones who will receive the financial reward that comes with it, and that is what we need to take care of our families and also cushion our future,” Opoku said.
Opoku rejoined the Porcupine Warriors in 2018 after spending a year with Sakaeo FC in Thailand.
