Asante Kotoko’s Emmanuel Gyamfi is optimistic his side will beat CAF Champions League opponents Etoile du Sahel come Sunday at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“We are a great club and we don’t fear any opponent. Etoile is not exception and we know we can beat them well in Kumasi,” Gyamfi told Dailymaigh.com in an interview.

“The playing body is aware that playing against a North African side is not an easy task but we are focused and prepared to write our names in the history book of such a great club like Kotoko.

“Everyone in camp is highly motivated and eager to help the team to achieve its aim of making it to the group stages of the Champions League this season irrespective of the opponents we face,” he added.

Gyamfi noted that the Porcupine Warriors know the North African clubs very well, adding”

“we are aware of their delaying tactics but we’ve also find an antidote to that which leaves us very positive and confident of beating them on Sunday.”
