A mother and her two children were killed after a fire destroyed their three-bedroom house at Asore Nkwanta in the Ohwim Amanfrom electoral area in Kumasi.
The victims reportedly got trapped in the inferno which started just before midnight on Monday (August 15).
Assemblyman for the area, Erastus Ebo Boison confirms the charred bodies of the deceased were discovered after firefighters battled the blaze. He also disclosed that the eldest child of the family was the sole survivor of the incident.
Although residents suspect a case of arson, the Ghana National Fire Service believes investigations will establish these facts.
