Nkawkaw based Division Two club Kwahu City have engaged the services of former Okwahu United head coach Adolf Adu Botwe to take over the club’s coaching job.
Adolf, who was ready for Okwahu United job but Management of the club couldn’t afford to his demands month’s ago, accepted Kwahu City (formally Kwahu Youth) offer and signed a three -year deal. His contract ends in February, 2023.
A statement on Friday, February 7, 2020. confirmed his appointment: “The Club announce the appointment of Adolf Adu Botwe as the new head coach.
“Adolf, an experienced and professional trainer, has penned an initial three-year contract and with the option of a renewal.”
Adolf days in Okwahu United conjured magic last year when he lifted the maiden trophy dubbed Eastern Cup Special Competition organized by the Eastern Regional Football Association after Anas expose halted football activities in the country.
Adolf career in football was once a player of Okwahu United in 1981, the team that qualified Okwahu United to it’s first ever elite division in 1982 and coached the club on three occasions and won three trophies with Okwahu United. He is the vice chairman of the Eastern Regional Coaches Association, Ghana.
He has been given a target of promoting Kwahu City into Division One and building a formidable team within three year contract signed with the club.
