A non-governmental organization (NGO), Lady Gee Foundation, has donated items to the people of Prampram amidst coronavirus pandemic.
The Foundation donated items like Veronica Buckets, hand sanitizers, tissues, soaps and other products to help the fight against COVID-19 in the Prampram vicinity.
Speaking to Dailymailgh.com, the leader and founder of the foundation, Lady Gyimaa revealed why they chose to support the people of Prampram.
“We decided to help the people of Prampram because we realised they needed the items more and also to spread out love to the locals in this torrid situation”, she said.
According to Gyimaa, this is just the beginning of great things to be done by the foundation because it is their wish to always help out the communities in need.
“The Foundation sees ‘giving’ back to the society as its priority and helping others in times like this is the best thing to do as human beings or groups.
“It is a good thing to give back to the society and this is certainly not going to be the last time we will doing this charitable work”, she added.
The queen mother of Prampram Naana Osabu Abbey I and elders of the community received the items in a good heart and thanked the Foundation for their support in this trying times.
“We are very happy and thankful for your support and help to our community in this period of time,” Naana Osabu Abbey I said.
Lady Gee Foundation promised to do more donations in the future to support the vulnerable and the community at large.
