Legon Cities FC won their second game of the season in the Ghana Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Elmina Sharks.

The Royals recorded their second home win in a second home match running with a last-gasp penalty.

Abdul Karim Jabila converted a 90th-minute penalty to seal all three points after Nicholas Mensah was impeded in the penalty box.

Elmina Sharks are without a win in their last two games in the league.

Meanwhile, in Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs recorded a resounding win over leaders Aduana Stars in Cape Coast.

The Crabs tame the Fire Boys with an impressive 3-1 win in the week eight of the Ghana Premier League 2019-20 season.

Albert Ato Hammond set up Michael Asamoah on the half hour mark to put the host 1-0 up.

Asiedu Abubakari doubled the home team’s advantage eight minutes after, making it 2-0 before the half time whistle.

The home team picked up from where they left off in the opening 45 minutes but missed the opportunity to go three up when striker Hammond missed a spot kick.

The away team reduced the deficit with a well converted penalty from top scorer Yahaya Mohammed to make it 2-1.

Isaac Donkoh, after receiving a sumptuous pass from Simon Martey, made it 3-1 to the host.

Dwarfs have won their last two home matches and have climbed the ladder from bottom of the league log.
