Another fire broke out at the Afful Nkwanta section of Dagomba Line, a popular slum in the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi.

Makeshift structures that house head potters and scrap dealers have been destroyed forcing many to evacuate to safety.

The cause of the fire which started about 3:30 pm is yet to be established.

It comes after a separate fire destroyed shops at KNUST and Aboabo station in less than 24 hours.

In March 2020, the Dagomba Line slum caught fire destroying several properties in the process. Barely a month later some 13,000 people were rendered homeless after a similar incident occurred at the enclave.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
