Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has shown maturity as he rallies support for Black Stars despite being snubbed by Otto Addo ahead of the Nigeria clash.

The Porcupine Warriors shot stopper has urged the supporters to show up at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday night to support Black the Stars to ride over the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Danlad, on his social media account rallied support for the Black Stars as he showed his unflinching love for the nation offering advise to the public to support team Ghana.

“GHANA Month, Black Stars Week, Let’s all come together and in our numbers to support Our dear Team” I will be there to support my brothers so that we make history together. Don’t miss out this Friday – 7pm @BabaYaraSports Stadium”, he added.

Despite being in fine form, the Porcupine Warriors shot stopper was not included in the Ghana squad for the crucial encounter against Nigeria.

Coach Otto Addo opted for four goalkeepers for the two-legged Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs but decided to exempt the In-form goalie.

To the surprise of many, error prone goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi who plys his trade in the Switzerland Super League with FC St Gallen was called ahead of the Kotoko goalie.
