The Ghana Police Service is increasingly concerned about the welfare of an 11-year-old who went missing on Tuesday.
Edinight Tewuobu was last seen at her Mangu home in Wa, the capital of the Upper West Region nearly 72 hours ago.
Edinight –who speaks Dagare and English Language – is described by the police as fair in complexion, 3feet 2 inches tall, and was last seen dressed in a wine coloured blouse over a red skirt and black slippers.
She was reported missing at about 12 midday on Tuesday.
“Anyone with information on her should inform the station officer –Wa, the nearest police station or call telephone numbers 0553683966 or 0204914106,” a statement issued and signed by Inspector Gideon Boateng, Director of Public Affairs at the Upper West Regional Police Command read.
