Ghana’s most decorated investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is wrapping up year 2019 with yet another honour.
The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) on Friday honoured him as anti-corruption star for the major role he has played in fighting corruption in society.
The controversial African journalist, who is the CEO of Tiger Eye PI, expressed gratitude for the honour, saying it spurs him on to do more.
The MUSIGA executives gave him a citation as part of the honour.
“As an anti-corruption crusader, your work with Tiger Eye Productions has contributed and continues to contribute immensely to our fight as a nation against corruption.
“Your analytical attention to detail and your constant striving to ensure that politicians and all duty bearers deliver on their mandate while eschewing corruption has endeared you to many a Ghanaian. Indeed, your status in our national discourse is epitomised by the term “Anas Principle” which is used to describe your style of investigative journalism,” the citation read in part.
