Ghana’s Black Stars deputy captain, Thomas Teye Partey has binned criticisms that he doesn’t give his best performance for the national team like he does at club side with Arsenal in the English Premier League ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup clash against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
The former Atletico Madrid player says he mostly obeys the instructions given to him by the technical team hence anything he does it is for the collective good of the team.
Speaking to the press ahead of Ghana’s crucial game against Uruguay at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Arsenal midfielder said he always gives out his best for Ghana.
“Most people expect a lot from me but we are playing as a team and I listen to the coach and do what he tells me”.
“You know you can do something better but you have to stick what the team wants and not individuality”.
Ghana takes on Uruguay in a do or die affair today with Ghana looking for a win or at least a draw to qualify if South Korea fails to beat Portugal today.
