Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh has revealed he had the red card against Slavia Praque for a bad tackle and not for an alleged spitting on Tomas Soucek.
The budding forward mentioned that the Czech FA disciplinary board did not find him guilty of spitting, but rather for seeing red.
“I didn’t even spit on him. He was acting up and that’s why the board didn’t even suspend me for that but only for the tackle,” Tetteh told Dailymailgh.com exclusively.
“The board even said there’s no enough evidence that I spat on the player. They suspended me because of the tackle that I got red card.”
Tetteh has netted five goals in 10 league games so far this season.
