The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, known as NAPO, has voiced strong support for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
At the NPP’s manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, NAPO lauded Bawumia’s leadership and vision, calling him “the man of the moment.” He highlighted Bawumia’s significant contributions to the country’s economic growth and digital transformation, praising his exceptional leadership and clear vision for Ghana’s future.
NAPO emphasized that Bawumia’s innovative approach to governance and commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians make him the ideal leader for this time. He underscored his dedication to supporting Bawumia’s vision.
“I’m a stronger believer in Dr. Bawumia. I have worked with him more than many know. I believe in his ability and knowledge, and surely, he’s the man of the moment. I’m committed to serving him loyally to ensure his vision becomes a reality,” NAPO stated.
He further described Bawumia as “a man of vision, humble but firm, affable, loyal, honest, a problem solver, a very hard worker, a go-getter, and a man of integrity,” and affirmed, “He’s destined to take Ghana to the next level.”
NAPO also defended Bawumia’s integrity, asserting, “I know Dr. Alhaji Bawumia is not corrupt. His family life has never been accused of corruption, and his public life has never faced such accusations. He has never been investigated and will never be corrupted.”
