The CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP), who doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate for the Ejisu Constituency in the Ashanti Region,
John Kumah has visited some selected Senior High Schools to monitor the ongoing 2020 WASSCE examinations.
These school are; Ejisuman SHS, Church of Christ SHS, Ejisu Technical School and the Achinakrom Senior School. As part of the visits he also donated 300 bags of cement to help with ongoing construction works in the various schools.
Kumah also shared some words of encouragement with the students and wished them the best in the upcoming examination.
He lauded President Nana Akufo-Addo for introducing free Senior High School (SHS) policy to alleviate the burden on families to send their children to school.
He said but for this social intervention, many families would be struggling to see their children complete SHS.
The first batch of the free SHS beneficiaries called ”Akufo-Addo graduates” commenced their West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on July 20 started their examinations.
About 313,837 final year students will be taking part in the exams.
