A segment of today’s NewsFile featured the NDC’s aspiring member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK), Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye, an ardent communicator and Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide of the NPP, who have both experienced the deputy ministerial portfolio.
Shortly into the discussion, Lawyer Samson Lardi Anyenini, the host of the programme, did a fact checking of claims made during the week by president Akufo-Addo that the GreenBook, which partly catalogues some of the infrastructural projects executed by the Mills-Mahama regime, was only replete with “fantasy projects” and artistic impressions that do not exist on the ground. Former president John Mahama, also in a rebuttal, asked those who doubt the existence of the infrastructural projects catalogued in the GreenBook to visit the project locations to fact-check for themselves. The NDC also used its weekly meet the press to address same topic through Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye.
Listeners and viewers of today’s NewsFile programme could, however, not believe how the deputy minister for Information, Mr. Hadzide could not withstand the fact checking and cross examinations by the host of the programme as well as fellow debator, Mr. Ofosu Kwakye.
The discussion, which had over one thousand live viewers on facebook alone, quickly extended to social media with many viewers and commentators scolding the deputy minister, Pius Hadzide for his lack of fact on the programme.
