In-form Ghanaian attacker Joseph Paintsil scored his ninth goal of the season for KRC Genk in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Wednesday evening.

The former Tema Youth FC player broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just 17 minutes with a beautiful strike to send the away fans into ecstacy.

Paintsil was set through on goal by Bryan Heynen and made no mistake after he latched onto the ball with full pace and agility beat the defense of the home team.

The Ghana forward found the bottom right corner from outside the box with a right-footed strike to grab the opening goal for the Blue and Whites outfit.

Ster Peeters scored an equalizer for the home team to make it 1-1 and restored parity after converting a spot kick for the Black and Whites outfit.

The drew 1-1 with both teams settling for a point each in the frenetic and mouth-watering encounter.

The 25-year-old played full throttle for his team and has nine goals and nine assists in 19 Games this season in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
