The National Cathedral secretariat has said there was no wrongdoing in its transactions with JNS Talent Centre, especially when it comes to the payment of a GHC2.6 million loan.
The opposition MP for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa had raised concerns about the payment of the money to JNS Talent Centre.
Appearing on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Monday (16 January), the executive director of the National Cathedral of Ghana, Dr Paul Opoku Mensah said: “The information being put out by Okudzeto Ablakwa is selective.”
“There were two transfers first on August 27 to the National Cathedral account and then later to the GNS account … It is unfortunate that only one side is captured in what has been presented.
“There is not a single document from our end that has been intercepted, that perception is wrong. We have presented all our documents to Parliament; it’s in the public domain,” he added.
