The head coach of FC Nordsjaelland, Flemming Pedersen, is pleased with the form of Ghanaian striker Isaac Atanga in the ongoing 2019/2020 Superleague.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate has been on fire for FCN netting three goals in three games as the Northern side sit 5th on the Danish Superleague log.
Atanga, 19, was the man of the match on Sunday netting the opener as his side cruised to a 2-0 win over Esbjerg, attracting commendation from his boss.
“It’s a great start for Isaac. We knew well that with his speed and understanding of the game he would create problems for the opponents,” Pedersen stated after the game with Esbjerg.
“But it is far beyond expectation that he has made a goal in each of the first three matches. And he should have even netted a brace agsinst Ebsjerg.
“He has really come up with many chances in the first three games, and no one will have doubted if he had even scored six goals at thid time,” he added.
Atanga, who can play anywhere across the attacking line, scored nine goals in games for the Nordsjaelland Under 19 team last season before being promoted to the senior side.
