The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Asante Akyem Central, Ashanti Region, has held its final rally to galvanize support for the upcoming December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. The rally, which doubled as a health walk, started at Ahenbronum and passed through Ahyiayem and Odumasi, culminating at the party office in Konongo.
Addressing participants, the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Kwame Anyimadu, expressed deep appreciation to party members for their commitment and hard work. “Your dedication is commendable, and I urge you to maintain this momentum as we approach Election Day,” he said, encouraging continued efforts to ensure victory.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akyem Central, Honorable Robert Yaw Kwakye, also emphasized the importance of discipline and unity within the party. He called for a peaceful approach to the elections, highlighting that unity is key to securing a decisive win for the NPP.
Andy Owusu, the Youth Organizer for the constituency, focused on engaging first-time voters. He urged party members to educate new voters on the voting process, saying, “We must ensure first-time voters understand the dos and don’ts of voting and recognize the importance of their participation in shaping the future of our country.”
Asante Akyem Central has been a stronghold for the NPP since 1992, and the party remains confident in maintaining its dominance in the upcoming elections. The rally demonstrated the party’s resolve to mobilize its base and secure victory on December 7.
