The Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the USA has extended heartfelt recognition to H.E. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the 2024 Vice Presidential Candidate of the party, for his outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to Ghana’s progress.
The NPP-USA branch youth organiser Danny Opoku Antwi presented a citation on behalf of the party on Friday (18 October), commending Dr. Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as “Napo,” for his visionary approach and commitment to national development.
They emphasized that his leadership serves as a beacon of hope for the youth, inspiring them to believe in a brighter, more harmonious, and prosperous future for the nation.
“As young patriots, we are motivated by your tireless efforts to create opportunities for all. Your commitment to excellence, unity, and prosperity aligns with the aspirations of the youth, paving the way for a better Ghana,” the statement read.
The NPP-USA Youth Wing also pledged its full support to Dr. Opoku Prempeh and the NPP’s leadership ahead of the December 2024 elections, expressing confidence that the party’s vision will resonate with Ghanaians.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh, currently serving as the Minister for Energy, was officially announced as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, earlier this year. His nomination has been widely received as a strategic move, given his experience in both education and energy sectors.
With Ghana preparing for a pivotal election, the youth group reaffirmed their belief in the NPP’s ability to safeguard the nation’s future through visionary leadership and effective governance.
